Very little news, so this week’s show is primarily community-driven: a wide array of tips, summaries of interviews with Charles Boyd and James Ohlen, and GasGuy’s datacron rant.
1. Introduction
Chill participated in this month’s Galactic Gamers Coalition #11 “Extra KotFE”, hosted by Old Republic Radio.
2. Tip of the week
Congratulations to this week’s winner, Beringer! Thanks to Rendrin, Patrick, TheUnNamedHero, @BornToEatBacon, Tait Ransom, Teadra, Groo the Trooper, Fatalspark and Memmek for entering.
Please send your tips to ootinicast@gmail.com by next Tuesday for a chance to win a Taunfawn or M8-3R droid code, courtesy of BioWare, and an OotiniCast-provided Cartel Market pack from the latest shipment.
3. Holofeed
- The insta-60-gate saga is resolved! After initially taking the insta-60 (“Start at 60”) tokens off the Cartel Market, and requesting that players avoid using any insta-60 tokens they have, BioWare subsequently announced that the issue had been identified and fixed. Some players who’d insta-60 tokens weren’t restored with that fix had them returned later.
- Please note that you must have deleted your insta-60 character prior to reaching level 61 to be eligible for the insta-60 token to be refunded.
- Swtorista has obtained some answers from Charles Boyd (Lead Writer) about KotFE’s story.
- PCPowerPlay interviewed James Ohlen on 7 September.
4. Community
You can find Dorjee Vajra’s SWTOR Community Guides and Resources (SWTORCGR) here.
Dekion provided a wonderful summary of his and Fyonha’s participation in the Extra Life Events hosted by the Unholy Alliance and Wookie Mistake guilds.
5. Force Feedback
Blachloch provides visual proof that the assertion that level sync ensures that the mobs on a planet are never grey is wrong!
Tim wades into the murky depths that is Star Wars humour…
As does Grez’ly of Begeren Colony:
