OotiniCast Episode 331

This week we discuss the class changes, new augments, and further Conquest refinements coming in Game Update 5.9. We also touch on general Star Wars news, including Rian Johnson’s plans for his new trilogy.

3. Holofeed

  • Game Update 6.0, the next expansion, will be coming eventually, and it will not be named “Knights of the …”. The next Game Update after 5.9 will be 5.10.
  • Game Update 5.9 will bring further refinement to the revamped Conquest system.
  • The different types of Conquest missions were clarified: Repeatable (Infinite), Daily Repeatable (once per Legacy per day), One-time (once per Legacy).
  • The Command Crate drop rate has not changed!
  • While decos are not part of the current direct sale on the Cartel Market, they may be in the future.
  • Details of the new augments coming in Game Update 5.9 have been revealed. Note that Bolster is not being adjusted to account for the new augments (yet).
  • Many balancing and survivability-enhancing class changes are coming in Game Update 5.9. Tanks are also getting some not-so-positive attention.
