SWTOR Reforged Episode 17: Ootini!

We are cross-posting episode 17 of SWTOR Reforged on which Chill and I were guests. We hope you enjoy the show, and consider subscribing to them if you don’t already!

We have FINALLY returned, and the wait was worth it! The crew sits down with Chill and Teo from Ootini-Cast! After escaping the clutches of Slimey The Hutt, Chill and Teo talk with Evarwyn, Lou and Fred about their week in game as well as the MASSIVE news that Disney purchased Lucas Arts and that there WILL be an Episode 7,8 and 9! Also, the guys talk a bit about F2P model as we learn more information, not the least of which being an announcement from Joveth Gonzalez that 1.5 will not be this week, but rather, VERY soon! After our talk, Lou enters the Jedi Archives where he presents to us the origins of the title “Darth”!

With all of the talk about f2p and ideas to bring players back to the games I look at Star Trek Online yeah yeah I know not many people want’s to hear the name of another MMO but I was just looking at the f2p system on that game, it’s pretty nice with the exception of pay to win and like chill I have spent a mind blowing amount of cash on there system on ships playable races and yes the lock boxesthey currently have, they promote free ships, weapons, and many rare goods from the boxes great system and incentives for us to keep buying. I think on Mass Effect titles you have a chance at rare playable toons, so do you guys think they’ll include the same on SWTOR and promote the items to bring in more cash flow from players.
    Lastly the space game on SWTOR just my opinion I think they could take a few lessons from Star Trek on this to make the space battles a lot more interesting in game, youtube a pve match in sto and see the space battles if your at all interested. Thx for reading the rather long post.
