OotiniCast is a podcast for those interested in a little news and some interesting discussion about Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR).
Listening to the comment about shadow realms and the possibility of the same scenario occuring with SWTOR. The situation is not the same. Dallas Dickinson said in a panel at PAX East that Shadow Realms was cancelled because EA could not confidently find any comparables upon which the company could build an earnings estimate on. One can say he had personal reasons to say that, but other panelists agreed with him on how EA does things.
Obviously SWTOR is not in the same position.
