- Keith (Lead Producer) has published the Fall Roadmap 2017. It announced the United Forces Campaign, in which SWTOR’s servers are merged into five.
- The West Coast server was initially going to be called The Hot Prospect, but will now be named Satele Shan.
- Timothy Zahn is writing a sequel to his novel Thrawn, called Thrawn: Alliances.
- In Game Update 5.5, coming on 10 October, the final class changes for this balancing pass will be implemented:
- Game Update 5.6, coming on 28 November, will include another new Flashpoint, called A Traitor Among the Chiss.
